[engl] Crawling from beneath the streets of New York City is the brand new project from familiar faces, LETHAL. Bringing together UK influence with NYHC influence...reminding me of bands such as Crucifix, Sacrilege NYHC and the Nausea track off the Rev comp. Their bleak view of the world is displayed in the five tracks that make up their debut seven inch. Catch them on the road this summer as they play many of the fests in the northeast with plans to tour in the fall.

Most of it clocks in at illegal decibel levels with frenzies to match but the real gem of the EP is the hypnotic mid-tempo stomper that is “Zero Sum Game”. Four glorious minutes of cascading feedback trickles over pounding riffs and acidic vocals creating a delirium wormhole some won’t ever return from. [engl] New songs from the Lidköping crust/hardcore unit known as M:40. The band started back in 2002 over a totally improvised recording. Their second fullength, Historiens svarta vingslag, was released as CD in 2007 on Halvfabrikat Records. Since then the world has not quite been the same. A long time, bands such as Disfear, Tragedy and Totalt jävla mörker led the way of crust/punk entirely. As the summer of 2012 approaches, the tables will turn. M:40 are back with their third fullength, titled "Diagnos". Diagnos does not only gives us the brutal side of Disfear, the raw side of Tragedy, or even the fierce side of Totalt jävla mörker. Diagnos also proves that crustpunk can infact be diverse; in contrary to the before mentioned. Imagine yourself arriving at the barren no-man's land, with no way back to safety; warmth, love or affection. This is the soundtrack to that exact moment. The vinyl edition comes in a nice gatefold sleeve with massive information.

[engl] "MAKILADORAS from Groningen (Holland) existed from 1999 until their demise in 2007. They were known for their ultra intense brew of Slaytanic Metal guitars in a bowl with uncompromising Crustpunk and Evas recognizeable angry vocals. They created a monster of sheer and mighty punk-metal mayhem that always stood up for DIY Punk ethics and this way toured as far as even to Israel in 2004. The Band published a stunning 10” MLP and Split 7” with “Radio Bikini” until their first Full Lengh “In eigen Hand” in 2005 dealing mostly with Gentec issues along other current political topics. MAKILADORAS split up in 2007 playing a stunning final Show at the 11th Trashfest in Hoogeveen (Holland) and recorded their last remaining 8 new Songs for a final 12” Release that was suposed to be released by PROFANE EXISTENCE in 2008. Due difficulties and a briefly end of PE’s Label activities the masters got returned to the Band and finally are available on vinyl 3 years later in form of the “Niemandsland” 12” on Ruin Nation Rec. This final releases includes 8 post mortem tracks of a full throttle SLAYER guitar ridden Metal and Punk feast. Recorded by Dirk Kusche at Bremens Kuchelrock Studios who is also responsible for the early thundering SYSTRAL recordings. The Artwork that attents this releases was done once again by Mr. Marald who created yet another masterpiece of Sleeveart... especially the detail in the front cover are simply amazing."

[engl] MARTYRDÖD List is Martyrdöds 6th album. [engl] Canada's Massgrave compile a collection of their first 6 vinyl releases on one cd. Their first ep "Survival of the Richest", their LP "People are the Problem", and split 7"s with Global Holocaust, Poser Disposer, Pretty Little Flower and Warfair? Massgrave play a brutal blend of early 90's style crust-core, and early death grind, often compared to Extreme Noise Terror and old Napalm Death.

[engl] Well, this CD will contain all EP`s released on vinyl, including 32 tracks with 2 unreleased tracks.This compilation starts with the latest EP "crap" which was out 2002 and goes back to the first 12” EP "ephemeral cerebral butchery" released in 1993. Altogether this collection contains 6 EPs - 4 of them came out as Split EPs with different cool bands. There are also some cover tracks on this collection and 2 unreleased tracks.

[engl] Chicago’s MOCK EXECUTION are back with a 5 track EP in time for their European Tour. Expect more of their trademark raw unfiltered hardcore. Dual flanged out guitars deliver sharp chunky riffs, hypnotic and psychedelic at times, while the heavily distorted low end of the bass/drums create a cavernous foundation for their sonic attack. While borrowing heavily from Scandinavian hardcore and the entire Crust War catalogue MOCK EXECUTION make the sound their own.

[engl] Chicago’s MOCK EXECUTION return with 9 tracks of unadulterated sonic aggression. Their debut LP Killed By Mock Execution takes cues from the dirtier sides of both Finnish and Japanese hardcore while keeping their engineer boots firmly set on the traditional UK crust sound of yesteryear. Executing a magnificent hybrid of DOOM and GLOOM, GAI, KAAOS, and the entire early 2000’s Crust War catalogue, MOCK EXECUTION tear through flanger solos, huge crash cymbals, burly driven bass and NO SECURITY split era intros and that’s only part way to the band’s sound. Recorded by the band on an 8 track tape recorder at their tiny practice space, during the height of global pandemic and civil unrest in the USA between 2020 and 2021, and graced with artwork by the inimitable Monykaos.

[engl] MONEY? MONEY. MONEY are the Texas blackened metal punks who dropped that FINAL BAG Demo and 3 A.M. ETERNAL EP on us in recent years. It can be hard to keep up with the deluge of mostly bullshit that comes up on a daily basis but MONEY stands alone. Their "members of" list is impressive but it’s unnecessary in light of the blistering 1-2 of licks and rapid fire drums. And while the aforementioned releases came into being via cassettes on the great Roach Leg Records and from the band themselves respectively, B.I.R. is proud to have these 7 corrosive tracks on vinyl for the first time.
