After a period of re-releasing old albums, guest appearances on albums from artists such as Center of the Universe, collaborative releases on the more experimental side of things he has compiled a collection of amazing new tracks that turned into 'Hands and Feet'.

[engl] Recorded live at the Blow Out Festival at Victoria / Nasjonal Jazzscene in Oslo, August 21st 2020, by Sindre Bergsvik Øvstegård. A brilliant live performance at one of Norway's finest venues, performed in fornt of a corona restricted audience. The duo's patience and attention to all the small details in the sounds they instruments produce gave a seated crowd strongly needed meditative treatment.

[engl] The debut album of experimental duo Deep Thoukus. A mellow expression with clear connections to the renowned improv jazz scene in Norway, but also with one foot in the alternative rock world, as Meyer Grønvold's electric guitar embraces the organic touch Laastad has on his drum kit. A playful and totally stripped down soundscape where rythm and melody is fully integrated between the two instruments. While Meyer Grønvold is mostly known for his appearances in alternative rock bands such as Moon Relay and S.L.Y.C., he has also been a solid part of the improv scene for ages. Joined by Laastad, known for his productions on both these genres, and also for his brilliant percussion and drumming in a variety of settings (Hilary Woods, Finity, Jenny Hval, Trondheim Jazzorkester etc.) and highly respected experimental jazz constellations, they create an impressively open and organic expression. A rough record, due to its 100 % transparent details which only enhances the meditative and inviting nature of the seven tracks composed with a unique calmness.

[engl] Experimental rock maestros Moon Relay’s opus _...-``-..._! First premiered at Henie Onstad Art Centre February 9, 2020 in cooperation with visual artists Anthony Barratt and Espen Friberg, and now reworked in the studio to form their biggest and most powerful release this far. The release also marks their first album in cooperation with Sheep Chase Records. Where earlier releases have been more traditionally based on stand-alone tracks, _...-``-..._ is a more conceptual experience still playing on some of the same inspirational sources. Early post-punk and no-wave mixed together with noiserock, kraut, jazz, fractured funk and sometimes elements from hip hop in the spirit of Afrika Bambaataa. Avantgarde, hypnotic and yet groovy on the verge of dancy. Trance-like rhythms evolving into mysterious drones, and then funky bass lines with noisy guitars and synths floating on top. A unique and all-consuming experience. Even though _...-``-..._ was composed for a very visual experience on stage, the band has reconstructed and re-worked the piece into a mind-blowing studio album standing strong on its own. A grand opus bringing together many elements from the band’s previous releases - and also the four musicians wide array of other experiences from alternative rock, experimental pop and improvised jazz. An utterly unique listening experience. The album comes with two fronts (red and blue) and no backside.

[engl] It is a pleasure to present Oslo-based trio Outer Limit Lotus's first recorded material. 'Cruising The Old World' consists of six ice-cold, dreamlike rock compositions. Drowned in reverb, constant dual vocals sketch paranoid, nightmare-ish hallucinations from a world on its way down. Cold spaghetti guitars are accompanied by an controlled, off-kilter rhythm section. This, packed into an noisy, almost psychedelic soundscape, is the essence of Outer Limit Lotus. Cruising The Old World is a sonic glacier, melodic and catchy, but the lasting echo of the dark underground we know from the band members' other project, Haust, still lingers. It is fever-dream rock played with punk energy. In a short year, the band has established a solid live reputation, with trance-like, ritual performances of their unique music. Outer Limit Lotus is for those who think that rock is at its best when it's dead.
