The SECONDS are a threepiece-band from New York City, being on the forefront of the Neo-No-Wave/Post-Punk scene, along with bands like RADIO 4, LIARS or EX MODELS - and actually guitarist Zach is now in the EX MODELS as well, while drummer Brian is also a member of the YEAH YEAH YEAHS! Their incredibly tight and frenetic proto-punk, with buzzsaw-like guitars, a punching bass and pounding drums, reminds of the GANG OF FOUR, Richard Hell, DEVO and MINUTEMEN all put into a blender - and their cover-version of MADONNA's ''Burning Up'' is simply awesome!- Format
